Hallmark strikes a maker's mark for every weapon and every piece of armour - Hallmark.js, HallmarkForms.js, HallmarkLedger.js

Plugin desc : Keep your loot system. Hallmark does not roll stats, generate affixes or manage loot tables. It answers the question a player actually asks when a weapon drops, which is what is this thing. In stock RPG Maker a legendary blade and a starter dagger are the same picture, a 32x32 tile from an iconset that ships with every project ever made. Hallmark replaces that with a struck mark composed from the item's own properties, its guild, its metal, its rank, and whatever your loot system rolled onto it.56 guild forms across 8 metals and 6 ranks give 2,688 distinct marks, plus 24 affix glyphs that ride on the mark as satellites.Nothing here is a picture file. The plugin ships no images and loads none at runtime. Every mark is vector geometry, drawn at whatever size it is needed, so a 32 px inventory icon and a 170 px ledger plate are the same authored form rather than two assets. It also adds the Assay Ledger, the player's own book of proof marks, which fills in as the party handles items.Three files, added in this order: Hallmark.js, HallmarkForms.js, HallmarkLedger.js. Plugin commands cover opening the Ledger, recording a mark directly, and recasting every mark in the world from a new seed.RPG Maker MZ. Hallmark
============================================================================

KEEP YOUR LOOT SYSTEM. This is the part that makes the drop LOOK like
something.

Hallmark does not roll stats, generate affixes, or manage loot tables. The
plugins that do are good, plentiful, and mostly free. What none of them do is
answer the question a player actually asks when a weapon drops: *what is it?*
In stock RPG Maker the answer is a 32x32 tile from an iconset shared by every
project ever made, so a legendary blade and a starter dagger are the same
picture.

Hallmark STRIKES a mark for every item instead: a punched guild stamp,
composed from that item's own metal, rank and rolled properties, drawn as
vector geometry at whatever size it is needed. No image files ship with this
plugin and none are loaded at runtime.

    56 guild forms x 8 metals x 6 ranks = 2,688 distinct marks,
plus 24 affix glyphs that orbit the punch.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT DECIDES A MARK
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing is random. The same item always strikes the same mark, in this save
and every other one, because the mark is DERIVED rather than rolled:

GUILD from the item's weapon type or armour type. Every axe is marked by
one guild and every staff by another, so the player learns to read
          the shelf at a glance.
FORM from a stable hash of the item's identity, inside that guild.
METAL from the same hash, different bits.
RANK from the item's PRICE, against the Rank Price Steps parameter.
A more expensive thing wears a heavier ornament.
GLYPHS from the item's own rolled properties, parameter bonuses, element
traits, state traits. One satellite glyph each, capped.

Change the Mark Seed and the whole world re-casts. The same seed always
produces the same world, which is why capture, testing and play agree.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
INDEPENDENT / ROLLED ITEMS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If another plugin hands the party its own cloned item objects, the usual
shape for an ARPG loot system, Hallmark marks those too, and its derivation
reads the CLONE's properties, so two swords rolled from one base with
different affixes strike two different marks. Nothing needs to be registered
and no API has to be called: any object with `params`, a `note` and a `name`
is markable.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTETAGS, for when you want to choose rather than derive
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
One line, on a weapon, armour or item:

    ⟨hallmark: form=anvil, metal=meteoric, rank=sunburst, glyphs=ember|keen⟩

Every field is optional; whatever you leave out is derived as usual.

    ⟨hallmark: none⟩

opts that item out entirely and restores its ordinary iconset icon.

Form, metal, rank and glyph ids are listed in HallmarkForms.js and shown in
the Ledger.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
COMPATIBILITY
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hallmark patches by prototype EXTENSION with the original saved, and clobbers
nothing. It extends exactly three core methods:

Window_Base.prototype.drawItemName to strike the mark in place of the
iconset icon, for markable items only
    Game_System.prototype.initialize to create its record
Scene_Boot.prototype.start to read the corpus once

`Window_Base.prototype.drawIcon` is deliberately NOT patched, so every icon
this plugin has no opinion about is drawn by the engine exactly as before.

A NOTE ON THE BRACKETS IN THIS PAGE
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This directory renders the help text as HTML, which swallows a literal angle
bracket, so every notetag above is printed with the unicode brackets U+27E8
and U+27E9 instead. They are NOT what you type. In your own note box replace
them with the ordinary keyboard characters, so that

    ⟨hallmark: none⟩

is typed as a less-than sign, then hallmark: none, then a greater-than sign.
The plugin only recognises the ordinary characters.
