Help of plugin :
Intertitle: a drawn title card for every map and every boss
Part 1 of 3: the only file that touches RPG Maker. Load all three:
IntertitleRead.js, IntertitleRender.js and this file. Any order works:
siblings are looked up at first use.
Notetags (map or enemy note box):
⟨intertitle name: Greyfell Deeps⟩ the name on the card
⟨intertitle epithet: where lamps die⟩ the line beneath it
⟨intertitle treatment: stone⟩ cartouche woodcut lacquer stone plate
⟨intertitle charge: flame⟩ the device on the card
⟨intertitle parent: Greyfell⟩ what the place hangs from
⟨intertitle skip⟩ no card for this map
⟨intertitle boss⟩ / ⟨intertitle boss: off⟩ (enemy) force a boss card on or off
Parameters (Plugin Manager, Intertitle.js):
Map cards (boolean, default true)
Replace the stock map-name strip with a composed title card.
Boss cards (boolean, default true)

Boss card height (number, default 190, 100..360)

A NOTE ON THE BRACKETS IN THIS PAGE
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This directory renders the help text as HTML, which swallows a literal angle
bracket, so every notetag above is printed with the unicode brackets U+27E8
and U+27E9 instead. They are NOT what you type. In your own note box replace
them with the ordinary keyboard characters, so that
⟨intertitle skip⟩
is typed as a less-than sign, then intertitle skip, then a greater-than sign.
The plugin only recognises the ordinary characters.

Every card is drawn in code at run time. The tileset picks the construction, such as an inked cartouche on the world map or a carved stone lintel in a dungeon. The element its encounters strike with picks the device, and the parent map in your map tree becomes the line under the name. A first visit and a return look different.
A boss is any enemy with the stock Collapse Effect Boss trait, or one given the intertitle boss notetag. Its card shows the element it fights with, a fault line for its weakness, and rays for how high it ranks in your database.
Notetags override any of it by hand, and an unknown device name is ignored, so a typo won't leave a blank card.
Three files, in any order: IntertitleRead.js, IntertitleRender.js, Intertitle.js. Two woff2 fonts, IM Fell English under the SIL Open Font License. Everything else is drawn in code, with no image files and no RTP art. Seven core methods are extended by saving the original and calling it, none replaced, and the stock map name window keeps running hidden, so a plugin that reads it still works.
RPG Maker MZ. Raw readable source, and a licence for commercial games.
